Premiering a new video on gaming pioneer Judy Bayley, December 4.
Judy Bayley was the owner of The Hacienda from 1954-1971. She gave
generously to charities and was the originator of the famous Trail
Ride for the Heart Association and the first contributor to the Performing
Arts Complex at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The Judy Bayley
Theater is one testament of her contributions to the Las Vegas 1960's
legacy.
The December 4th event will include modeling
of thelavish gowns and furs worn by Ms. Bayley, screening of Judy
Bayley: First Lady of Gambling & First Lady of Charity and an
auction to raise funds for future projects by Women of Diversity.
The event will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the Elks Lodge at 4100 West
Charleston in Las Vegas.
A buffet dinner will be served for a donation
of $35. Women of Diversity, Inc. is a on-profit 501©(3) organization
providing multimedia training program for at-risk youth and women.
More than 35 young adults have trained in video production, editing,
writing and Women of Diversity as produced six broadcast video documentaries
on pioneering women and artists.
